M7 · Order Blocks · Lesson 130/144
6 min 55 XP
Once you can spot a valid order block, the danger is marking ten of them. The rule keeps you precise: in any one structure you mark just two. They differ by WHERE they sit and how reliable they are.
DOB — Decisional OB
EOB — Extreme OB
Why the extreme wins
The DOB is bait: price often taps it, gives a weak reaction, and fails because the real orders sit deeper. The EOB is the true origin of the move — it took the liquidity and left the FVG that started everything. When price retraces, it reaches the DOB first and the EOB last; the EOB is the one worth waiting for.
